Currently, most research with animal cloning is focused on the health.

And

How clones can be used to assist the health of others.

Some companies are looking into human cloning, as well as the uses of cloning for more controlled subjects in experiments (ex. Rats with “perfect” genetics in labs). Currently, human cloning is not possible, and cloning technology is being used more to alter DNA in lab animals instead of full cloning.
